現在Today
２０１１(平成２３)年１２月、現在の日本橋界隈の姿。右手の大きなビルはコレド日本橋で、ここに白木屋（後に東急百貨店日本橋店）があった。そのすぐ左側、日陰の部分が日本橋で、１９６４(昭和３９)年、東京五輪開催に向けて日本橋川に架けられた首都高速道路が真上を走り、景観は狭められた。橋の斜め左上が三越本店の新館と本館、その左の高いビルは日本橋三井タワー。
Nihombashi district and its vicinity today. The Coredo Nihombashi building is on the right, where Shirokiya Deparment Store (and later Tokyu Department Store Co.’s Nihombashi store) was once located. The Nihombashi bridge is barely visible in the shade as the Metropolitan Expressway, built ahead of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, towers over it.

２０１１(平成２３)年１２月、川面から見た現在の日本橋。上を首都高速道路が走り、景観が妨げられている。左が京橋側、右が神田側。
