復興後After reconstruction
１９３３(昭和８)年９月１日、関東大震災から丸１０年、復興した銀座４丁目交差点付近を６丁目の松坂屋屋上から京橋方向に望んだ景観。中央左の白いビルは１９３２（昭和７）年竣工の服部時計店(現和光)で、時計は震災発生時の１１時５８分を指している。右手に１９３０（昭和５）年竣工の三越銀座店、その後方に重なって１９２５(大正１４)年５月開店の松屋が見える。中央通りの突き当たりは京橋の第一相互館。（日本電報通信社撮影）
Ten years after the earthquake on Sept. 1, 1933, a view of rehabilitated Ginza 4-chome intersection and its vicinity as seen from the top of Matsuzakaya Department Store. The white building (center left) is Hattori Building of the Seiko watch manufacturer (now Ginza Wako Building) and the clock on it shows 11:58 a.m., the exact time the earthquake struck.
