震災後
After quake
１９２３(大正１２)年９月、焼け落ちた仲見世に露店が開きにぎわう浅草寺界隈。後方に仁王門と五重塔が見える。焼失を免れたことで浅草寺はご利益があると人気を呼んだ。
Shortly after the deadly quake, shoppers flock to the Nakamise shopping district full of street vendors around Sensoji Temple, also known as Asakusa Kannon, in Asakusa. The Niomon Gate and the five-story pagoda are in the background.
復興後After reconstruction
１９２９(昭和４)年１月２日、正月の参詣客でにぎわう浅草寺門前の仲見世。震災からの復興は早く、１９２５（大正１４）年に鉄筋コンクリートで不燃化された。後方は仁王門。（日本電報通信社撮影）

現在Today
２０１１(平成２３)年１２月、現在の仲見世。外国人観光客の姿も多い。後方の仁王門は、戦前の建物が戦災で焼失し、１９６４(昭和３９)年４月に再建されたもの。
