１９３２(昭和７)年４月１９日、航空機から見た吾妻橋(右の橋)の周辺。手前は前年１１月に開業した東武鉄道の浅草駅ビルと浅草松屋。デパートの入るターミナル駅は、東京近郊私鉄としては最初の試みだった。隅田川を挟んで対岸は大日本麦酒の吾妻橋工場で「サッポロビール」を造っていた。左の橋は東武鉄道の鉄橋。（日本電報通信社撮影）

現在Today
２０１１(平成２３)年１２月、現在の吾妻橋周辺の姿。手前の東武電車浅草駅と浅草松屋は変わらず、対岸にはアサヒビール本社と、その左に墨田区役所庁舎が建っている。
